Founded by the Berryman family in 2001, Murdering Point Winery has rapidly gained a reputation for the quality of its wines and the innovative use of a wide range of exotic tropical fruits, particularly in making wines using Australian native tropical fruits such as the Davidson Plum.
This unique winery has rapidly become a leader in the use of a wide range of tropical fruits in the production of quality dry, sweet and fortified wines. The winery offers wines, ports and creams made from Mango, Passionfruit, Lychee, Davidson Plum, Jaboticaba, Mulberry, Pineapple, Black Sapote, Banana, Coffee, Chocolate and mint with special ingredients including ginseng and ginger.
Murdering Point Winery is located on the Canecutter Way in Silkwood, North Queensland Australia, and is a key attraction of the Great Tropical Drive. Our cellar door is open 7 days from 9:30am to 5:00pm (except Christmas Day, Good Friday).
Anzac Day we open from 1pm.
