The Cassowary Coast Business Women’s Network provides support, training and networking opportunities for women in all kinds of business in the region covering Cardwell, Mission Beach, Tully, Kurrimine Beach & Innisfail.
In November 2010 the Tropic Coast and Innisfail Business Women’s Network amalgamated to form the Cassowary Coast Business Women’s Network.
The group’s objectives are:
1. To facilitate networking with like-minded women
2. To encourage, nurture and support the ideals and goals of women
3. To provide a voice for Business Women
4. To promote growth personally and professionally within our community
5. To foster the development of new business initiatives for women
6. To enrich the lives of women through friendship
The CCBWN members meet monthly at various locations throughout the Cassowary Coast to network their businesses, share ideas, undertake professional development and strengthen friendships. Our meetings are usually on the last Tuesday of the month.
We regularly invite expert guest speakers to present at our meetings and have welcomed a number of wonderful presenters in the past to share their knowledge and their stories. Past areas of interest have included online marketing, risk assessment, team-building, local economic analysis and the business sale process.
We welcome any new members as well as anyone simply interested in attending a meeting to find out more about how we can support you and your business.
