Echo Adventure & Cultural Camp and Spirit of the Rainforest aboriginal tours are an eco friendly, authentic indigenous, cultural and adventure experience encompassing a variety of workshops, Aboriginal tours and activities to suit any group, visitor or organized tour.

The knowledge and experience provided to each tour and each program or activity comes from the use of thousands of years of knowledge by the local Rainforest Aboriginal people of this land and highly qualified activity personnel.

Spirit of the Rainforest Tour - Let us take you on a cultural journey into World Heritage Listed rainforest. Our experienced Aboriginal guides will lead you through awe-inspiring rainforest, along crystal clear creeks and tranquil waterholes to the Echo Creek Falls.

For thousands of years our people have utilized walking trails through the rainforest. We used these travelling routes to attend important social gatherings of the local tribes and for the seasonal collection of plants and animals.

This Queensland Heritage Listed, 4 hour walk allows you to experience life in the rainforest, learning about Aboriginal uses of flora and fauna, listening to dreamtime stories and visiting sacred story places.

Yunba Tour - 2 hour walk to our special place, the healing pond, connected to a local dreamtime story. Experience billy tea while participating in an interactive session of learning how to weave with Aboriginal artist Tonya Grant. Tonya will teach you how to weave their own special souvenier. A truly enjoyable and memorable time.

Cost $40 per person includes pick up and all materials.

Accommodation at Echo Creek is in the 'Jackaroo Quarters' the quarters are bunk bed, dorm style accommodation and are equipped with all the facilities for a modest, natural experience. Accommodation upgrades are available with Castaways Resort & Spa or Absolute Backpackers
